Who we are

Church Interior

THE COLLECT FOR THE SEVENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY

Generous God,

You give us gifts and make them grow:

though our faith is small as mustard seed,

make it grow in your glory

and the flourishing of your kingdom;

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

NB. There will a united service at Kingskerswell Parish Church this Sunday (31 July 2017) at 11:00 am and no other service in St Mary's Abbotskerswell.

Abbotskerswell is a village on the sides of a hill 1.7 miles west of Newton Abbot towards Totnes in South Devon.  We are just outside the South Hams area.

We extend a warm welcome to anyone who is able to join us for worship and full details of all our services and other events are on the Sunday Services page on this website.  You will see that we have a variety of services throughout the month aiming to meet the needs of as many people as possible.

We are one of three Anglican churches that make up the Benefice [meaning a collection, in this case of Churches, who aim to do good]. We have our own services but share some services and other events.  There is a Priest in Charge based in Kinsgkerswell, Rev John F Leonard.  Our Reader, Mr Tim Collins lives in the village as does  Ms Pam Wakeham who is the Church Warden.

Car parking is available for those attending services at the Court Farm Inn by kind permission of the owners.  We do ask you to respect this offer of parking.  You will find access to the Church via a gate to the right of the Pub as you face the main entrance.  Turn left as you pass through the gate and the Church is about 50 yards in front of you through the Lych Gate.

Some Church activities are held in Church House.  To get there turn right as you pass through the gate from the car park.  Walk to the bottom of the path and you well see Church House in front of you.  The entrance is to the left of the building.

(There is a link (under "Links") to the Kingskerswell Church site so you can see details of events they are holding.)
