Sunday Services explanation

Details of each type of service

8:00 Holy Communion

This is a "said" service with no music. We use the Book of Common Prayer [BCP] & it lasts about 40 minutes

9:00 Fresh and Early - held in Church House on the 2nd Sunday in the month

This is an informal approach to worship for all ages and using contemporary songs and words.  We sit around tables on comfortable chairs and start with bacon rolls, croissants and a drink!  There is usually an activity.  We aim to finish about 10:00.

10:00  - After this service, coffee (with biscuits!) is served in Church House which is a few yards from the Church

Parish Communion

We use contemporary language (Common Worship) together with modern hymns with the occasional hymn written earlier.

Parish Praise - held on the 4th Sunday of the month

A more informal service using contemporary language lasting about 40 minutes and intended for the whole family.

Joint Eucharist Services are held at Kingskerswell Parish Church on the 5th Sunday.

Other services (especially at times like Christmas and Easter) are held and details will be on this website especially in the calendar section and on notices around the village.
